316L medical grade stainless steel thigh cilices are available in 1, 2, or 3 rows with a variety of closures. This listing is for custom made to order cilice, so in your order notes please include your thigh measurement. To measure your thigh, use a flexible measuring tape such as one for fabric and measure around the thigh where you want the cilice to sit *without* squeezing it. Then, subtract 2-4 inches to allow for the closure/ability to tighten the cilice, depending on how tight you'd like to pull it.
The links are made from 16g wire and are nice and sturdy. I have quite a few options for you to customize your cilice, including sharpness! There are also quite a few different closures including different colors of ribbon and I will add more colors as I get them. Currently all ribbon is 1 inch except for the black which is available in 1/4 in or standard 1 in. All ribbon and paracord closures are heated on the ends to seal them. Sisal rope is scratchy for that extra suffering, but does tend to shed. Please allow 1-2 weeks turnaround time for all made to order items.
